Issue No 137 Black History Month Lyrics

Black History Month by Issue No. 137

(Intro)
I would like to make a few comments
Concerning the difference between
The black revolution and the negro revolution
Are they both the same?
And if they're not, what is the difference?
What is the difference between a black revolution
And a negro revolution?
What the hell is a revolution?

(Verse)
I'd rather be an NIGGA, than a local Tom
Is hard to see us being niggas and keeping (???)
As-Salamu Alaykum, Wa alaykumu a-salam
I ain't rollin' with Al-Qaeda, but I'm 'bout to drop a bomb
Not to mention uncle Sam, back to worship to Saddam
It's crazy, we see the signs, but don't listen to alarms
Niggas lack the education, spending tuition on the charm
But them bleachers started home, I blame that one on his mom
Woke up thinking of Chicago and got horrified
Kids killing kids, strippers getting horrified
What about them lessons Malcom-X taught?
What about them battles dr. King fought?
This why Megan Evans got shot,
My friend Empton got killed, Dewey Newton got locked
I bet Bobby Seal looking at a shock
Disappointed that these black folks rock
You niggas must have forgot

(Malcom X speaking)
I am inclined to believe that many of our people
Are using this word, revolution, loosely
Without taking careful consideration what this word actually means
And what its historic characteristics are.
I'm telling you, you don't know what a revolution is
'Cause when you find out what it is, you'll get back in the alley

(Verse)
If I don't do nothin', I'm a boss
It's like all a nigga know is catch up (???), shoot a(???)
Now we lacking dinners when semesters start in fall
Take my financial (???) so I can run and hit the mall
I'm seeking this fuses bitches making on a cool
Talkin' 'bout she dancing so that she can pay for school
Walking for a purse, niggas hustling for shoes
I swear my eyes bleedin' everytime I watch the news
